Is your dream wedding small and quaint or large and over the top!? Also do you envision a church style ceremony or a beach front affair? Selecting the answers to these questions, may determine the location for you. Even though the wedding is about you, you should also keep in mind your guests. Destination weddings are on the rise, but it’s not necessarily fair to request that your guests travel across the world. There will be no way to make everyone happy, but you should consider these things, if it’s going to make your loved ones happy!
Do you intend on having a religious ceremony? If so there are a few things to consider when selecting the ceremony location. Most religious ceremonies have to be held in a place of worship, such as a traditional Catholic Ceremony. If you and your fiancé you should defiantly consider having the ceremony in a neutral location, most unique offsite locations have the option of having both ceremony and reception onsite.
Finally, think about how much time you have to plan, and how much you are willing to work on planning the wedding. Places like hotels and reception halls are pretty much a one stop shop. Whereas, the more unique offsite venues require more work and vendors to execute a timeless wedding.
