Choosing Your Vendors

Selecting the Right Vendor for Your Wedding

Most brides come to the table with knowing very little about planning a wedding and this is great for me because first that means they are getting married for the first time and secondly they are looking to me for some vendors that I have worked with in the past.

Of course choosing a wedding planner from the beginning will alleviate a lot of stress and the planner will basically guide you to the vendors of her choice.  This is always a great option for a bride that is planning a destination wedding or a very busy bride that just does not have the time or energy to get it all done.

Selecting a Band, DJ, Florist and Photographer can be fun.  I recommend people I have worked with many times in the past.  I definitely suggest meeting three companies in all areas of your wedding and then selecting whom you would like to work with.  Sometimes the lowest proposal is not the right choice and sometimes it is.  Staying within your budget is a great way to stay stress free through the process.

Knowing your budget and then sharing your budget with your planner or your caterer can really guide event professionals to recommending the right vendors for your budget.

So all in all, having a grasp on your budget and sharing this and your vision can make vendor selection much easier.
